Šiauliai Sports Gymnasium social educator Irena Tamošaitienė consults students, their parents (guardians, caregivers), teachers and coaches.
Purpose.
To help children better adapt in the gymnasium, society, and community, to seize every opportunity in order to learn more rationally, to grow and become independent adults. Social educator also takes care of children’s social well-being, represents and defends students’ rights while at school and other institutions.
How can school’s social educator help?
Students should address the social educator if they have any difficulties in communicating with their peers, teachers or parents, if they are victims of violence, suffer abuse, have doubts about which profession to choose, etc.
